Microsoft has announced that the new Xbox Experience will release worldwide on November 19. This experience changes the way the Xbox 360 dashboard works in almost every way. The update includes features like Avatars, better content organization, installing games to the hard drive, and lets not forget the Netflix integration. Xbox 360's around the world (in 26 countries, localized in 11 languages) on November 19th 2008 will receive this update. Here is a look at some additional features you will find interesting.

You have to respect a company that would sacrifice profits for quality. That is what is happening over at EALA. During an interview EA spokesperson Mariam Sughayer said, "The game was not on track to meet the high quality standards set by the team and by the EA Games Label. There were fundamental problems with the design of the game that the team struggled to correct."
Look out! The debate over Spore’s DRM is far from over. Here at Down in Front we have had many healthy debates over whether or not Digital Rights Management is a good thing for gamers and business alike. Putting my personal feelings on the subject aside about whether or not some form of copy protection is needed in the world and after reading the court document let me just say it's not looking good for EA. If you are a fan of Team Fortress 2 and forked over the dough for that and a PS3, you ( me included ) are getting forked. An update to TF2 on PC and 360 are being worked on, however the PS3 update is being left behind.
So on my daily quest for interesting news I ran across this tasty little piece of information. Japan's Nikkan is reporting that Sony along with Toshiba will be ready to mass produce it's new 45nm Cell processor in 2009. The new chip will be smaller and cheaper to produce than the PS3's current 65nm processor. The processor also requires 40% less power run which in return produces less heat. How does that benefit gamers?
Unfortunately, unlike last week there's not a whole lot worth mentioning this week. While the list is on the longer side, only a few games really caught my eye. Games like Brother in Arms: Hell's Highway, and hell maybe even Lego's Batman...I know, I know, Lego's Batman? well...Lego's Star Wars was kinda fun... so who knows... Anyway on to the list...
Though Midway has been faced with many challenges, it seems as if they have found a way to finance the delivery of their 2008 titles that should be shipping sometime this fall. Midway Games, who reported a $34.8 million net loss and the second fiscal quarter, has made an agreement to sell up to $40 million dollars of their accounts receivables to National Amusements, Inc.
