Let's face it, love it or hate it... Star Wars related products whether they be films, toys, or even video games are here to stay. Joystiq is reporting that LucasArts latest Star Wars video game "The Force Unleashed" has broken the XBLM download record. In only eight days "The Force Unleashed" surpassed 1 million downloads. If that wasn't enough LucasArts also went on to say that if you include the PSN demo, The Force Unleashed has been downloaded more than 2.3 million times worldwide.

It's been awhile since the last time I have posted my weekly game releases. So here we go, let's see what do we have coming out this week? Well the big title in my estimation is Mercenaries 2: World in Flames for the PlayStation 3. A few of the other titles making news, Facebreaker, and Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise. Yesterday, Ubisoft and GeoEye, Inc. announced that GeoEye, a premier provider of satellite, aerial and geospatial information, has provided high-resolution images taken from its commercial Earth-imaging IKONOS satellite for integration into Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the Sony PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and on Windows-based PC. Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X will be available in early 2009.

For those of you out there playing Team Fortress 2 brace yourselves for some exciting news. Valve has announced that the latest update for TF2 will include a new multiplayer game mode (Arena), as well as 2 entirely new maps and 3 existing maps exclusively tailored for Arena Mode’s play style. Scheduled for release today through Steam this update also includes new heavy specific items such as the Sandvich (+120 health item), an upgraded Natascha (mini-gun), Heavy Class achievements, and more. Unfortunately, there is no information as to when or if the 360 will be receiving this update, so get your keyboard and mouse for this one kids. Pictures and more after the jump.

Guys lookout theirs a new model in town and boy is she fine... I repeat fine!!!...First let me get this out of the way, having never played or been a fan of the Lara Croft series admittedly I never really understood the whole Lara Croft thing, but after watching these videos you can be rest assured they will be receiving my application to the Lara Croft Fan club in the following weeks. The young lady your about to meet is Alison Carroll age 23, and from the looks of it she has the whole package, attractiveness, intelligent and she's a gymnast it seems like a perfect fit to me... oh and I almost forgot... that's one hell of a sexy accent.

Like most of you I love Gears of War and am anxiously awaiting its sequel with dreams of Marcus and the team chain sawing their merry way through hordes of locusts. So it is with little surprise that a certain news item caught my eye this afternoon. “Gears 2 given violence filter” brings back horrible memories of green goo spouting out of Liu Kang as Scorpions spear plunges into his chest on the SNES. Upon further investigation its not quite as bad as I thought it could be.

What can I say about this one.... except this very well could be one of the greatest looking case mod I have ever seen. Modeled after everyone's favorite game Gears of War, this case mod features a glowing gears of war logo, raised textures, glowing red lights and more. Kudos to the creator known as "dfw monkie". In all honesty he needs to start thinking about how he can market this mod, People would easily spend $100.00 for a case like that. Anyway check out the images and video below... It's amazing.
