Name Unveiled for Bond 22

Image   IVER HEATH, England (AP) -- "Quantum of Solace" is the title of the new James Bond film, the 22nd Bond adventure. The title was revealed to reporters Thursday at Pinewood Studios outside of London, where the movie is being filmed. Producer Michael G. Wilson said the title, chosen only a few days ago, was taken from a story by Bond creator Ian Fleming that appears in the collection "For Your Eyes Only." We thought it was an intriguing title and referenced what happened to Bond and what is happening in the film," he said.

Heath Ledger Found Dead

Image   The Down in Front team has just received word that actor Heath Ledger has been found dead in Mary-Kate Olsen's New York Apartment. Most of you will already know exactly who he was, but for those that don't, Ledger played Enis in Brokeback Mountain and is appearing as the Joker in this year's Batman Sequel "The Dark Knight". Heath also starred in Ten Things I Hate about you, A Knight's Tale, The Patriot and more. As this is a breaking story details are fuzzy at this time, we will do our best to keep you up to date with the story.

Golden Globe Winners

Image   As most of you already know, the WGA strike has taken yet another victim. The Golden Globe's award show was cancelled. The venerable award show, commonly seen as a prelude to the Oscars, was forced to ditch the usual glitzy production and announce the winners in a decidedly less impressive press conference. Golden Globes a bust for Hollywood

Image   The Golden Globes get ready to kick off their annual award show this weekend and according to the Hollywood Reporter because of the writer strike a lot of people are going to lose a lot of money. "The Hollywood writers strike forced organizers to cancel the usual boozy three-hour ceremony, and replace it with a low-wattage one-hour newscast. NBC could be forced to return $10 million-$15 million to advertisers, and the Hollywood Foreign Press Assn. will pocket a license fee much less than its usual $5 million check, Fashion designers, party planners, caterers and limo drivers, will also be take a hit."
