At the headquarters of the Central Intelligence Agency in Arlington, Va., analyst Osborne Cox arrives for a top-secret meeting. Unfortunately for Cox, the secret is soon out: he is being ousted. Cox does not take the news particularly well and returns to his Georgetown home to work on his memoirs and his drinking, not necessarily in that order.    A group of self-absorbed actors sets out to make the most expensive war film. After ballooning costs force the studio to cancel the movie, the frustrated director refuses to stop shooting, leading his cast into the jungles of Southeast Asia, where they encounter real bad guys.    Before the film even starts we are treated to a series of faux trailers courtesy of every actor in Tropic Thunder. It was gut busting hilarious and I didn’t want them to end. I think I even peed a little bit.

“Superbad” co-writers Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg take us through a hilariously violent tale about two pot heads that end up on a journey where they learn just how valuable friendships are in life. Seth Rogan plays Dale Denton, a mid-twenty year old guy with a stable job, a girlfriend still in high school, and an addiction to weed. Saul Silver is played by James Franco whom you will remember as the Green Goblin from the latest Spiderman movies. Saul is a drug dealer that Dale visits on an almost daily basis. Through their interactions they develop a friendship that is tested the day Dale sees a crooked cop (Rosie Perez) and a drug lord (Gary Cole) commit a murder.
