If you suddenly found yourself being pursued by every hot single woman in your regional area, what would you do? I think we’d all have the same answer… nail every single one of ‘em until your wang fell off. Now, suppose a few days prior to your recent enlightenment, you met the girl of your dreams, the one woman you’d be willing to settle down with, and oh yeah, she’s an extremely clumsy (in a cute way) penguin obsessed Jessica Alba. Well, if this all happened to you, your name would be Dr. Charlie “Chuck” Logan (Dane Cook) and your world is about to be turned upside down.

Where do I begin? Well for starters, I am at a loss for words about this one. As much as I was hoping for a great comedy, I was ultimately left feeling disappointed and even more so because we actually spent money to see this. Simply said, Mr. Woodcock was a huge letdown. If you don’t end up reading this entire review the one thing I want you to know is that it is not worth your time or your money. My advice, wait until it comes out on HBO or Showtime before you decide to waste two hours of your life on this one. Now for the plot…

At its core, Superbad is nothing more than your average everyday teenage sex-romp comedy, chronicling the (mis)adventures of two high school seniors right before graduation. The two main characters Seth (Jonah Hill) and Evan (Michael Cera), who take their names from the films writers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, form a perfect Odd Couple with each being an exact foil of the other. Evan the scrawny brain and Seth the hefty slacker, are pretty much average in every other way, aside from Seth’s prolific use of the F-word, which I believe tallies up to approximately 84 uses (credit IMDB), and the fact that the two seem a little too concerned about each others feelings. After a good amount of character setup the plot finally gets rolling in this movie, centering on the unlikely invitation of Seth and Evan to the graduation party of Seth’s crush Jules’ (Emma ...

Former professional Ping-Pong phenom Randy Daytona (Dan Fogler) is recruted by the FBI for a secret mission. In the process, Randy is determined to recapture his former glory, and to smoke out his father’s killer – one of the FBI’s Most Wanted, arch-fiend Feng (Christopher Walken). But, after two decades out of the game, Randy can’t turn his life around and avenge his father’s murder without a team of his own. He calls upon the spiritual guidance of blind Ping-Pong sage and restaurateur Wong (James Hong), and the training expertise of Master Wong’s wildly sexy niece Maggie (Maggie Q), both of whom also have a dark history with Feng. All roads lead to Feng’s mysterious jungle compound and the most unique Ping-Pong tournaments ever staged. There, Randy faces such formidable players as his long-ago Olympics opponent, the still-vicious Karl Wolfschtagg (Mr. Lennon).

Danny Ocean (George Clooney) and the gang would have only one reason to pull off their most ambitious and riskiest casino heist—to defend one of their own. Ruthless casino owner Willy Bank (Al Pacino) never imagined that the odds were against him when he double-crossed Danny Ocean’s friend and mentor Reuben Tishkoff (Elliott Gould). He may have taken down one of the original Ocean’s eleven, but he left the others standing and, worse for him, gave them a shared purpose: to take Bank down on the night of what should be his greatest triumph—the grand opening of his new casino, appropriately named The Bank. Their strategy is twofold. First they will ruin him financially by turning the tables on the precept that the house always wins. The knockout punch will be to Bank’s personal pride and joy: his reputation as the only hotelier who has earned the Royal Review ...
