What do you get if you were to cross Micheal Jackson with The Wizard of Oz?  Willy Wonka and his Chocolate Factory, that's what! I have heard people complaining about this movie.  They liked the original much better.  OK, problem number one: Here we go again with another remake.  Problem Number 2:  The original was a watered down version of the book.     What's cool about people remaking things these days, they get to use new technology to pull off what our forefathers couldn't.  Not that they didn't try.  The glass elevator thing kind of bothered my.  Not sure why.

First of all… Sofia Vergara… Google her now. Moving on…     Synopsis: Four adopted brothers (2 white and 2 black) return home to Detroit for their murdered mother’s funeral. Having no confidence in the ability of the police to do their job, they take matters into their own hands and are determined to bring their mothers killer to justice Old Testament style… an eye for an eye.     Sounds like a pretty good idea that could easily get messed up in the wrong hands. Luckily for us, what director John Singleton gives us on screen is engrossing and entertaining. Yes, it has its fair share of over-the-top violence and unbelievable situations but you find yourself believing that this stuff could almost happen in this world so you just roll with it. The movie moves along at a perfect pace ...

Who doesn't love Batman?  He is the ultimate!  He is from planet Earth; he is as rich as all of us combined times forever; he isn't allergic to Kryponite.  Sure a bullet could bring him down, but you'd have to shoot him before he gave you a world class beat down.    This movie is an exploration into how Bruce Wayne focuses his anger and turns into Batman.  Who would guess a rich boy would go to prison just to size up bad guys for a can of whoop ass.  That just proves this is a fictional stories.  In real life he would go cry in the corner and take perscription drugs until his crack copies of XBox games showed up from Asia.

What is it this year about movie remakes? Remakes of TV Shows as well as movies makes it seem as if Hollywood has given up on original ideas. Thank God for M. Night Shyamalan and his freaky movies. Remaking a movie is like taking a hit song and redoing it. OF COURSE YOUR GOING TO HAVE A HIT RECORD, IT WAS A HIT ALREADY. Someone pass me a mic.    Bad News Bears is totally different. This movie rocked. Billy Bob has the drunken bum thing down. He was awesome yet again. If you wanted to know what Bad Santa does over the summer, he beans kids with screw balls. If you like baseball, booze, or if you just like to hit kids with baseballs this movie is for you.

This movie freaked me out. Based on EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) which is about electronic devices that can pick up sounds and images from dead people. After seeing this movie I did some research on this subject, a lot of people saying it’s real. If you believe in ghost/spirits this movie should freek you out.     Hearing from and seeing people that have died would mess anyone up. Plus like it was said in the movie 1 out of 12 EVP’s are not friendly. Can I say “I need clean shorts now” The movie was interesting if nothing else.
