John Rambo has retreated to northern Thailand, where he''s running a longboat on the Salween River. On the nearby Thai-Burma (Myanmar) border, the world''s longest-running civil war, the Burmese-Karen conflict, rages into its 60th year. But Rambo, who lives a solitary, simple life in the mountains and jungles fishing and catching poisonous snakes to sell, has long given up fighting, even as medics, mercenaries, rebels and peace workers pass by on their way to the war-torn region. That all changes when a group of human rights missionaries search out the American river guide John Rambo. When Sarah and Michael Bennett approach him, they explain that since last year''s trek to the refugee camps, the Burmese military has laid landmines along the road, making it too dangerous for overland travel. They ask Rambo to guide them up the Salween and drop them off, so they can deliver medical supplies and food ...

But while Carter was trying to define his private dreams and plans, reality intruded. Marriage, children, myriad responsibilities and, ultimately, a 46-year job as an auto mechanic turned his concept of a bucket list into little more than a bittersweet memory of lost opportunities and a mental exercise he occasionally thought about to pass the time.

I was sitting here trying to think about what in the world I’d write for the synopsis of Aliens vs Predator when I realized how utterly pointless that is. It’s like trying to teach a red neck how to properly hold a fork. It just doesn’t matter. People are not interested in some lengthy explanation on how aliens ever came into contact with a predator or vice versa. After all, the official synopsis from the studio is a colossal one sentence long. So if the studio doesn’t care then I don’t care. The story is incidental anyway.. Simply seeing the famed creatures on the big screen is all the fans really want to see. Hell I’d probably watch a predator porno where a group of 20+ predators pull a train on the female alien. As long as predators are on ...
