The Review

The game plan was an adorable movie from start to finish. It begins with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson whose job in life is to be a self centered, womanizer named Joe Kingman. Joe a superstar football player finds himself in a tuff spot when his long lost daughter decides to show up at his door after eight years of not knowing of her existence. Up until this point Joes life consisted of playing football and living the bachelor life. As one can imagine being a father is ultimately going to change one’s life style throughout the film and you get to see the transformation of a bachelor to father and all the comedy in between.

Produced by Disney the Game Plan was what I expected a cute movie but nothing to write home about. The rock put on a good performance for what he was given to work with. Madison Pettis played “Peyton Kelly” his daughter and boy was she great! Madison had her character down from the start, a smart ass kid to adorable one all at the same time.

Overall it was a solid Disney movie with its cute & witty comedy one that just about everyone can watch. As the movie ran a little long at almost two hours I think it was worth it in the end. Oh, and before I close this one out, let’s not forget about Roselyn Sanchez “yummy” those of you who don’t remember her she was in Rush Hour as the FBI agent with the Snoopy tattoo. She’s looking as good as ever!
