Tf 2 Again. Options

For once I'm going to talk bad about TF2....sort of. Sometimes I regret my playing of TF2. Before TF2 I loved all shooters. I rocked out at Halo 3 and COD 4.....before that is was GoW. At that time I enjoyed and dominated all at all of those games. However, since my discovery of TF2....all of those games have been traded off to gamestop for significantly less value then their true worth. GoW 2 was the most recent game to meet this fate. TF2 reminds me of my childhood of playing board games. In my early years I played simple games like tic tac toe and Old Maid. These games were simple and enjoyable. As I grew older though, I discovered chess. Chess is a game that is based completely off of skill. Who ever has the best strategy and can adapt the quickest wins. There was no luck of rolling the dice or drawing a good card, just skill against skill. This is a game type that I find much more interesting. This is exactly how I think of TF2. TF2 requires skill and teamwork.....something that I now, unfortunately, realize that no other shooters have. GoW 2 is a perfect example of this. As I repeatedly watched four people rush towards each other with chainsaws revved I wondered how anyone thought this was fun. Epic's hatred of the shotgun forced them to nerf its power only to make the chainsaw a dominant force. Did epic not play test this crap? The matchmaking system is a JOKE considering how big of a game it is. So I have now decided....that since I'm infected with the TF2 virus, I refuse to buy anymore first person shooters. What a sad day in my life....god damn Valve for making amazing games.
