Press Release - Xbox LIVE Marketplace demo of Too Human surpasses 900,000 downloads. Microsoft Game Studios and Silicon Knights announced today that the blockbuster action RPG “Too Human” has gone gold and will be available from retailers through the UK on August 29. In anticipation of the title’s release, gamers can jump into the first level of “Too Human” with a demo now available on Xbox LIVE. The Too Human demo has already been downloaded more than any other action demo on Xbox LIVE Marketplace in its first week of availability and has been one of the top played titles on Xbox LIVE overall. 38 Studios is the combined efforts of Major League Baseball Hall of Fame bound Curt Schilling, Spawn creator Todd MacFarlane and renown fantasy author R.A. Salvatore. "Copernicus" is the code name for the studio's first game endeavor of which the studio remains very tight-lipped. The Boston-based game company (38studios.com) refers to the MMORPG they are working on as "Idealized Reality".
As many of us have heard before from other developers in the business the Playstation 3 is just harder to develop on....plain and simple, whether it be the cell processors or something else in the consoles architecture, it's just harder. Well development hardship has struck again, EALA producer Amer Ajami had some interesting choice of words or shall I say (politically correct words) when talking about the decision to stop development for Red Alert 3 on the PS3.

Good news for all you gamers waiting patiently for EA's cartoon style boxing game known as "Facebreaker". It's being reported from videogamer.com that EA will be releasing a demo which will feature three of it's playable characters. The demo will be showing up on the Xbox 360 as of July 31st and the PS3 version is expected to hit August 7th. The real interesting part regarding this announcement is that Facebreaker will be allowing players to digitally map their face to characters by uploading your own photo. That should make things kind of interesting. If you happened to miss out on most of the footage regarding Facebreaker, here are a few videos for you.
With a little less then a week away from the release of the highly anticipated title Soul Calibur IV. It only seemed natural for me to post something regarding this title. As most of the public already knows the Xbox 360's special character will be none other then the Jedi Master himself "Yoda". As for the Playstation 3 users, don't worry the dark side is strong with you, Sith Lord Dark Vader will be your playable character. As for the other features, Gametrailers posted a nice video showing off the "Character Creation" part of Soul Calibur IV which I will admit could really take this game to the next level. I just hope players will able to bring their characters online with them. So let's cross our fingers. Enjoy...
