Japan's Nikkan is reporting that Sony along with Toshiba will be ready to mass produce it's new 45nm Cell processor in 2009. The new chip will be smaller and cheaper to produce than the PS3's current 65nm processor. The processor also requires 40% less power run which in return produces less heat. How does that benefit gamers?
