It's with great sorrow that I have to report this that Prototype - has been delayed until 2009. "Sierra Entertainment and Radical Entertainment have made the decision to shift Prototype to launch in 2009," a company spokesperson said. "Since its announcement, Prototype has been regarded by many as groundbreaking and taking the open-world genre in new directions, and in the simplest explanation possible, we need more time to deliver the game the team initially set out to create." Although I'm thoroughly disappointed in this news I can't help but feel that at least their not going to push out crap.
So for any of you out there who are like me, you have most likely been a gamer since the good ol' days. With that experience under your belt, you will have undoubtedly played some classics. Despite what kind of games you play, back in the day it did not really matter, for there were only a few types of games. Was this simplistic formula bad, or just right for the time. In todays gaming age, the expectations are somewhat huge, with the next "new" game that comes out needing to be bigger and better then it's predecessors. Now it seems that the past will be making a reappearance, but in a new look on new systems.

Here is some news for the 3 or 4 gamers out there still playing Halo 3. Bungie has decided to help you celebrate this Holiday by giving you double experience from NOW until Tuesday. Included in this celebration is the ability to use a new playlist appropriately named "Cinco De Mayo" if you have the Heroic and Legendary Map Packs.
