April 15th will see the release of the next pack of Halo 3 maps. Among the Maps to be released is a "remake" of Sidewinder from Halo: Combat Evolved.(Halo 1). The Price will be the expected 800 MS points ($10 dollars) The pack will include three new maps: Avalanche, Ghost Town, and a mysterious unnamed third map.

According the Bungie website, the new map Avalanche will be a remake of Halo 1's Sidewinder map. The map will be a snowy environment which "has the same familiar U-shape, multiple ways from base-to-base, and a whole sandbox full o’ vehicles to play with." But there are many, many changes too... The second map featured is Ghost Town; described "a mid-sized maze of narrow passages and dangerous ruins ideal for Team Slayer games and smaller objective types." Bungie is being tight lipped about the last map, and we no nothing other then: "fans of smaller slayer maps should get excited".
