Yesterday our good friends over at Sony released great news, coming in September, the 80GB version PS3 which currently is in the Metal Gear Solid bundle will be coming in a core form. All for the low price of $399.99. According to Sony CEO Jack Tretton core the 80GB system will be the same as 40GB model in terms of functionality.

So what do you guys think? I think it's a step in the right direction. 399.99 for a PS3 and a Blu-Ray player it's not a bad deal if you ask me. Way to go Sony...wow, I can't believe I just said that.
