The man known as the "King of Voiceovers" died Monday afternoon in Los Angeles, while the official cause of death has not been released it is believed to be from complications from a collapsed lung. LaFontaine has voiced over 5,000 movie trailers, including T2: Judgement Day, Independence Day, and The Simpsons Movie, among MANY MANY others. Don is largely credited for the famous opening line of "In a World..." and for changing the face of Movie trailers as we now know them.
